Oral placement therapy

Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) is a type of speech therapy that uses tactile (touch-based) and proprioceptive (position-based) cues to improve speech clarity and oral motor skills. It's often used when traditional auditory/verbal methods aren’t effective—especially with children who have motor planning difficulties, low oral tone, or sensory processing issues.

COCHLEAR IMPLANT SPEECH THERAPY

Cochlear implant speech therapy is a critical part of the rehabilitation process for individuals who receive a cochlear implant (CI), which is a surgically implanted device that provides a sense of sound to people with severe to profound hearing loss. After implantation, speech therapy helps the patient learn to interpret and understand sounds, practice speaking clearly, and improve their communication skills. OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
