OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Occupational Therapy (OT) is a healthcare profession that focuses on helping individuals of all ages perform everyday tasks or "occupations" that are meaningful to them, despite physical, mental, or cognitive challenges. The goal of occupational therapy is to improve a person's ability to engage in activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, cooking, bathing, or working, so that they can live more independently and with greater quality of life.
